Every year on July 1 Niagara-on-the-Lake holds the Canada Day Parade down Queen Street and the creation by Willow Cakes & Pastries always “takes the cake.” So what’s in store for 2015?

More characters and colour have been added. What’s your best guess as to the theme for this year’s Canada Day Cake? Let us know.
JUNE 27, 2015:
The plot thickens. Because the Cake will parade down Queen street, not everything can be edible. Some items that could have been made in chocolate need to be adapted. Just like this park bench, which ends up being made out of wood for solidity purposes; however, it will be covered in fondant of course! Yumm!

Join in the fun on Canada Day in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The “Giant Cakewalk Parade” marches down Queen Street at 3 p.m. to Simcoe Park where the celebratory cake will be sliced and served to all who come.
