It is no secret that Niagara’s most cherished locally made product is the icewine. Most vineyards in Niagara Wine Country leave a good portion of their grapes outside until January for that purpose. It is when the icewine grape harvest usually takes place and is such an important ( and delicious ) time of the year for us we decided to share it with you by throwing one of Niagara’s most beloved wine festival: The Niagara Icewine Festival!
This year the Festival will run from January 13th to 29th, with an emphasis on the weekends for most of the activities such as, Wineries Discovery Pass, Xerox Icewine Gala, Sparkle and Ice Diamond Gala, and of course, the Niagara-on-the-Lake Icewine Village! Make sure to reserve your tickets in advance for all festival related activities as they are all very popular.
