Directions
BY CAR FROM TORONTO: Follow the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) toward Niagara. Once across the Garden City Skyway at St. Catharines, take the Niagara-on-the-Lake exit.
Merge onto Glendale and proceed through the first traffic light to the second traffic light at York Road (from here, The Shaw is signposted.)
Turn LEFT onto York Road, then RIGHT onto Airport Road at the next set of traffic lights. Follow Airport Road through the first stop sign (marker: a totem pole on your left) for about 5 minutes to the second stop sign at Highway 55 (also known as Niagara Stone Road and eventually Mississauga Street).
Turn RIGHT onto Highway 55 and drive for 10-15 minutes through a roundabout and past Hillebrand Winery, through the town of Virgil, past McDonalds and Jackson-Triggs Winery toward Niagara-on-the-Lake.
After you pass Jackson-Triggs Winery on the right, there is a small dip in the road and at the top of the hill, turn RIGHT onto the first street (Anderson Lane) then LEFT at the Library, and RIGHT on Simcoe Street.
Proceed past Karsam to Victoria, turn LEFT on Victoria and then immediately into the first driveway on your RIGHT and you've arrived. Come in through the "Welcome" gate at the top of the driveway to the right of the garage.
FROM WINDSOR/DETROIT: Take Highways 401 and 403 to Hamilton, Ontario, and join the QEW toward Niagara. Then follow the same route as the traffic from Toronto above.
FROM NEW YORK, OHIO OR PENNSYLVANIA: Cross the Niagara River into Canada at Buffalo, Niagara Falls (Rainbow Bridge) or at Lewiston, NY (Lewiston-Queenston Bridge -- note, this is the busiest crossing). Take the QEW to Exit 38 (Niagara-on-the-Lake).
Turn right onto Glendale at the traffic lights and proceed to the next set of traffic lights at York Road. Turn left on York Road and follow the same route noted above to Niagara-on-the-Lake.
An alternative route is to take the Niagara River Parkway from Niagara Falls or from the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge to Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Follow the QEW and exit at Stanley Avenue (first exit after the USA border), with the option of turning to go back toward the Parkway, or onto Townline Road toward Four Mile Creek Road.
Follow the Niagara-on-the-Lake signage along Portage Road to the roundabout at the Niagara Parkway, keeping the Niagara River on your right.
Shortly after the McFarland Teahouse on your right and the Riverbend Inn on your left, turn LEFT onto John Street and proceed to Victoria Street.
Turn LEFT on Victoria and continue all the way up to Simcoe Street. Our driveway is the last one on your LEFT just before the stop sign at Simcoe.
