General Description
Brewer's Cottage, a quaint looking bungalow is deceptively spacious. This rambler/garden room has plenty of windows you will find it bright with natural sun light. Curb appeal is abundant as you are welcomed by the inviting front porch, where you can just picture yourself with an early morning coffee and enjoy watching the town come alive! Or if you are like me, and enjoy a late evening cocktail, this is the time to watch the horse drawn carriage trip trop by and the locals walk their family pets. You never know what or who you will see stroll by on the sidewalk!
Brewer's Cottage is a bungalow with everything but the laundry room on the one floor! It was fully renovated just two years ago so everything on the inside is new! There are about 3 steps to get up to the front porch. The floor plan is shaped like the letter âLâ with the living room/ sitting room and study in the short part facing the street. The long part of the âLâ runs north and south, and houses both bedrooms, both bathrooms, the kitchen plus a little kitchen nook and dining area. The laundry facilities are on the lower level.
The front door opens into a spacious sitting area and living room with gleaming hard wood floors, this room conveys casual, tasteful comfort. Come sit at the side window and read your favourite book or plan your adventures. The rattan chairs invite you to put your feet up and choose a book from the shelf! On the other side of the room is the large gas fire place, TV, sofa and love seat that gives plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Whether itâs a cold winterâs evening, a brisk Spring morning or just to take the chill off of an evening in the Fall, this beautiful fireplace gives an ambiance that just makes you want to sit next to it for at least a little while! Watch TV if you must, but this inviting space is perfect for conversation or playing games!
Off the living room/ sitting area is a front veranda that is enclosed and overlooks the street. No matter what the weather is outside you can enjoy the watching everything going on in the street from the windows that surround this room. In the late afternoon the sun pours into the study, giving it the perfect ambiance to kick back and unwind.
The kitchen is a galley style which is well equipped with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, pots, pans, glasses, mugs, cutlery and lots of wine glasses! Laid out in the perfect triangle, the fridge, stove and sink means there is plenty of room for 2 cooks! Donât cook but want to talk to the âchefâ?, you can watch all the action while sitting at the table! The appliances are nearly brand new and are stainless steel Frigidaire. The gleaming granite counter tops are easy to keep clean and you have the conveniences of a coffee maker and microwave. The large oval table easily accommodates 6 people and is a great space to catch the morning sun!
Are you an early riser? get your e-reader, get the coffee going and catch up on the world news while you relax on the chaise lounge basking in the morning sun! The dining table can be used for wonderful meals with your friends or to craft on or play games. Regardless of what you do, that table is where you will build memories, laugh and have good times with your fellow travelers.
