Cape House is a beautiful and romantic Cape Cod style home situated directly on the wine route in Old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake, near the Shaw Festival, spas, cycle paths, golf courses, shops, restaurants and a short walk to spectacular sunsets over Lake Ontario.
After a full day of cycling, wine tasting, visiting Niagara Falls or shopping, our guests may top off their day by relaxing in our upper lounge or, in fine weather, on the front porch or our pergola covered deck in the garden.
Cape House is decorated to enhance the guest experience. Common areas and rooms are decorated in a bright and airy coastal style with crisp whites, blues and teals with comfortable furnishings. Each guest room has its own ensuite bathroom with soft, luxurious towels. Toiletry dispensers have been incorporated for ease of use and to protect the environment and each bathroom comes with a hair dryer. Each room has its own distinctive upscale dÃ©cor. Amenities include duvets and both soft and medium-firm pillows, luxurious pillow-top mattresses and a USB charging station. Each room has its own sitting area where guests may relax in privacy. Rooms also include wireless high speed internet access, and a flat screen TV. Cape House has in room controlled AC and heat on the upper floor.
We are an adult oriented B&B (no children under 18).

Breakfast is served daily in the dining room or in the guest pergola (weather permitting). Join the other guests at 9:00 am for a home cooked breakfast ranging from Eggs Benedict, Vegetarian Quiche to individually Baked Pancakes. Fresh baked croissants are often served with our selection of locally sourced jams and jellies! Menu changes daily.

Niagara is Canada's most celebrated grape and wine producing region. Take the opportunity to taste the wines produced by many internationally acclaimed award winning wineries. Located within minutes of Cape House you will find Strewn Winery, Wayne Gretzky, Two Sisters, Stonechurch, Konzelmann Estate Winery, Jackson-Triggs, Stratus, Hillebrand and Pillitteri. Just a short drive away you will find many more including Inniskillin, Reif Estate Winery and Peller Estate Winery just to name a few.
The Historic downtown shopping district has many quaint shops where you can find unique gifts and decor, beautiful designer fashions, gourmet products and scrumptious baked goods. Take a ride in a horse drawn carriage and learn about our unique town and its history.
One of the world's finest theatre companies, the Shaw Festival is internationally celebrated for its vivid and exhilarating productions of plays by Bernard Shaw and his contemporaries.
Our town offers many world-class restaurants, with something to satisfy every palate. Restaurants in Niagara-on-the-Lake can be very busy and to ensure that you are not disappointed, we highly recommend that you make dinner reservations in advance of arrival. There are many to choose from at several different price points and if you'd like a recommendation, we would be pleased to help!.
From USA take take QEW exit 38 (Glendale Road North/Niagara-on-the-Lake). From the off ramp turn right, then turn left at the lights on York Road. Take the right lane and at the lights turn right on Airport Rd. Go straight until you reach Niagara Stone Rd (RR55) and turn right, go 13 kilometers to Old Town Niagara on the Lake and and turn left onto Mary Street. We are about 500 metres on the left, 1895 Lakeshore Rd. Call 905-359-0417 if you have any issues!
