494 Simcoe Street Bed and Breakfast
Niagara on the Lake
The house at 494 Simcoe Street was built in the Cape Cod style and is in its twenty-sixth year of operation as a Bed and Breakfast. It sits on one-third of an acre of beautiful perennial gardens which have been featured on television (HGTV) and in the press (Canadian Living).
Most of our guests are patrons of the Shaw Festival who return every year. One of the owners is an actor, and a number of our guests are in theatre, film or television.
The two sitting-rooms and the three bedrooms are decorated with furniture, pictures and porcelain from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries collected by several generations of the family.
Guests are served a full breakfast on a covered terrace overlooking the garden with its pond and swimming-pool (weather-permitting) or in the dining room.
The property is a quiet oasis on the south side of the Old Town, within pleasant walking distance of the theatres, shops, and restaurants.
