Niagara-on-the-Lake knows how to celebrate Canada especially on Canada’s 150th birthday.

Kick off the weekend on June 30 with a Canada 150 Celebration at Centennial Sports Park, admission is free, lots of events for all ages including fireworks to end the evening.  Check out all the details here.

July 1st – Canada’s Birthday!  Join us for a pancake breakfast at Simcoe Park, BBQ lunch and the annual cakewalk down Queen Street.  Fort George has all day events including period music, musket demonstrations and cannon firings! Canada Day festivities at the fort conclude with a fantastic concert and fireworks display! Find more details here.

City and Colour, Blue Rodeo, the Strumbellas, Stars and Dear Rouge will share the stage over the course of the day on July 2 at the Commons at Butler’s Barracks National Historic Site. Get tickets here.

July 3-4th continue the celebrations with the Tall Ships Regatta including free tours of the ships, and free entertainment.  Get all the details here.
